Luneburger German Bakery is a traditional bakery
specialising in authentic German breads, sweet and
savoury pastries, cakes and sandwiches.
Bread (Brot) is one of the most significant parts of German cuisine along with the
largest bread diversity in the world. Starting with the idea to fill the niche in the
Australian market for authentic, nutritious and diverse German bread, Luneburger
German Bakery first opened its doors in the famous landmark of Sydney, Queen
Victoria Building, back in 2005. Since then, three more shops have been added to
our chain across the city, luring Sydneysiders with the smell of our famous salted
pretzels, tasty sandwiches and continental pastries.
Having gained our name from the historical German town of Luneburg, at
Luneburger German Bakery, we mainly specialise in rye/sourdough bread, many of
which containing seeds packed with fibre, vitamins and minerals. Not only are they a good source of energy but also extremely delicious and completely free from any
artificial additives or preservatives.
